Once upon a time there lived a Japanese train called the Shinkansen. It was also known as the bullet train, even through it was not fired from a gun. It goes faster than your car (300km/h cruising speed) and they serve beer and sandwiches on board. It's more comformatable than any airplane and more expensive than a quart of Canadian whiskey. This video highlights a brief trip on what is referred to a Series 300 trainset from Shin Osaka to Kyoto.
